Pros and Cons of different Martial Art Stances?
I want to know like why in the MA they have that stance (in reference to movement, footwork, arm positioning,etc). Im thinking of stances of MA such as Judo(to represent grappling), Boxing, Muay Thai, Karate, Tae-kwon-do, Dambe, Taijitsu(ninjutsu), Capieroa, Wing Chun…

Those stances are meant for transitional movements and not used during the entire match, or situation.
Some are used also used for leg traps, breaks, etc
The stance you used for sparing should be one that gives you the mobility, and not rooted.
You should have at least 3 standard stance for sparing and not fix on one.
A stance tells a lot about a fighter. Narrow stances are more linear fights, wide stance are more for moveing side to side. The longer the stance the longer range a person has, the shorter the stance, the shorter there range is, and so forth
